Unbelievably we’re into February now and soon will be writing about Valentine’s Day!
Music Club was great fun. Bernie’s choice was classics by Buddy Holly, Nat King Cole, Elvis, Shirley Bassey and the Beatles. Everyone tapped their feet and sang along to the well recognised tunes.
We had Active Games and Nadia, the physiotherapist, put residents through their paces in Exercise Morning on Monday. Less exerting is the pampering on Hairdresser and Nail Care Day, where drinks are served in best china. Everybody looks lovely afterwards.
The residents reminisced using the Daily Sparkle magazine as a prompt. This fantastic magazine looks back at people, places, events and things in years gone by. St Marks joined us for the monthly communion service.
An energetic, lively concert by Celtic Women rounded off Burns week. We have also played Bingo, Dominoes and done a Beetle Drive.
