Management Team

Judy Warburton
Registered Manager

Judy trained as a Nurse in 1974 in the North-East, then came to Sheffield to further her training as a Children’s Nurse.

Following the birth of her children she worked in the private sector at Claremont Hospital where she gained a wealth of experience and knowledge, which she brought to her role at Broomgrove. Judy has been with us since 2004, moving from Sister to Team Leader and now to her current role as Registered Manager.

Judy enjoys cooking, reading, walking, and listening to music. She comes from a large family and makes sure they keep in touch, organising days out, parties and taking her grandchildren on trips.

In 1996, she moved into the private care sector, working as a Nursing Home Manager for eight years before progressing to the role of Regional Manager. With many decades of experience in caring for older people, Janet brings outstanding clinical expertise and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care. Rares Marian Haiduc
Human Resources Manager

My home country is Cluj-Napoca (Transylvania) in Romania. I worked as a jewellery store manager and after getting married and beginning a new adventure, I relocated to the UK in 2013.

My career in the UK began as a train steward on the mainline to London here in Sheffield. I progressed to Inspector and assisted the company to move from a paper based to electronic system. The covid pandemic represented, as for many others, an opportunity to change careers. In 2020 I joined one of the biggest warehouse operations in Europe.

In my first year I tried different departments until I entered the HR Department and realized this was where I felt my future career lay. I am always eager to learn and improve my skills, so I began the CIPD Level 5 Diploma in People Management before starting at Broomgrove in 2022. I enjoy working with people, being available for everyone who needs help and coming up with new and creative ways to make the workplace better.

I have a wonderful wife, two adorable boys, and I love watching movies with them. My other passions include cooking and gardening.

Lindsay Cutts
Administrator
Lindsay joined Broomgrove in 2021 as a Bank Care Assistant. Through her dedication and hard work, she progressed to the role of Senior Carer in 2025 before moving into her current position as Administrator & IT Coordinator. With a broad understanding of the day-to-day running of the home, Lindsay plays a key role in supporting both the administrative and operational functions of Broomgrove. She also manages the home’s social media platforms, showcasing the wonderful activities, celebrations, and special moments shared by residents and staff. Lindsay is passionate about finding new ways to improve the home, supporting her colleagues, and helping to create a positive environment for everyone. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her four children and her two dogs, Tommy and Rex.
Yasmin Fazal
Administrator

Yasmin joined Broomgrove in 2022 and is a valued member of our administration team. With over 20 years of experience in property management, she brings a wealth of knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a friendly, approachable manner to her role. Yasmin enjoys supporting residents, families, visitors, and colleagues, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service make her an important part of the Broomgrove team. Outside of work, Yasmin enjoys reading, listening to music, shopping, and eating out with family and friends.

My mother, who died recently, lived at Broomgrove for the final three and a half years of her life. She had moved house only once before, over 90 years previously, but she quickly felt at home in Broomgrove. Because Broomgrove offers nursing care, my mother was glad to know that she would be unlikely to need a further move. It was also reassuring to know that Broomgrove is an independent, well established, local charitable Trust.
Broomgrove provides exceptionally good care and an amazing programme of activities and social events. My mother especially enjoyed Broomgrove’s lovely sheltered garden – one of the many features of Broomgrove that make it ‘home’ rather than ‘A Home’. For residents and their family and friends, Broomgrove removes the worry of day to day care and makes spending time with loved ones a real pleasure. We all felt – and will always feel - part of Broomgrove’s extended ‘family’ and we are so grateful to all the staff, management and trustees.

Frances S (Daughter of Resident) Testimonial

My aunt has been a resident at Broomgrove for nearly ten years and whilst she has many challenges physically, her intellect is as sharp as ever. She's always felt totally at home at Broomgrove. I visit her regularly and she's always full of praise for the care and professionalism of the staff. The home always has a relaxed and happy vibe and the staff always go the extra mile to ensure she's as comfortable as possible.
