As it was recently Armistice Day the theme of our Music Club was ‘Wartime Songs. In coffee morning lots of people were inspired and we came up with a playlist that everybody enjoyed.
Staying on the musical theme Broomhill Bells, a handbell ringing group, came to entertain us last week, with ‘Shall we Dance’, a selection of dance tunes from around the world. We enjoyed some nibbles and drinks and everybody had a fun time.
Residents celebrated St Andrews Day with a coffee morning and Jon entertained everyone with songs from Scotland.
A highlight for some our residents was a trip out to Meadowhall. 7 residents went with carers in a minibus and taxis and family met up with them. It was exciting to window shop, make some purchases and enjoy a drink. The beautiful decorations were admired by all and provided some festive cheer. We are having another trip to Meadowhall next week with a different group of residents.
